Welcome to BBD Papers. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BBD Papers mobile application ("App") and website located at www.bbdcollegepapers.in (collectively, the "Service"), operated by BBD Papers ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or accessing BBD Papers, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our Service.
1. Purpose of the Service
BBD Papers is an independent educational platform designed to assist university students (such as BBDU and AKTU students) with academic preparation by aggregating previous year examination papers, class notes, lab manuals, syllabi, and related educational resources.
2. Intellectual Property & Content Disclaimer
Educational Materials
The examination papers, syllabus documents, and class notes hosted within the App are collected from publicly available university archives, student submissions, and faculty resources. All trademarks, university logos (e.g., BBDU, AKTU), and academic papers remain the property of their respective university institutions or original authors.
Fair Use
The resources provided are strictly for personal study, exam preparation, and academic research under educational fair use guidelines. We do not claim ownership or copyright over official university question papers.
Accuracy of Content
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date study materials, we do not guarantee the exactness, completeness, or relevance of any study note or previous paper for future university examinations.
3. User Accounts & Google Sign-In
To access premium features like Google Drive folder synchronization and secure note previews, the App utilizes Google Sign-In authentication (OAuth 2.0).
By signing in, you grant us permission to verify your Google identity securely. We only collect your basic public profile information (name and email address). We do not have access to your personal passwords, private Google Drive files, or emails.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Offline Downloads & Acceptable Use
Personal Use
You may download educational PDFs and notes through our built-in Download Manager strictly for offline, personal academic review.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Republish, sell, rent, or commercially distribute materials downloaded from BBD Papers.
- Use automated scrapers, bots, or scripts to extract data or files from the App or Google APIs.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to compromise the security of the App’s API keys or database connections.
5. Third-Party Services & Links
Our Service integrates third-party tools such as Google Drive API, Supabase, OneSignal, and Google Mobile Ads. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular study purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. We do not warrant that the app will function uninterrupted or completely error-free across all Android system versions.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BBD Papers, its developers, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of academic performance, study time, data, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or inability to access the Service.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When updates occur, the revised date at the top of this document will be updated. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
